Guides

How do I learn a song part by part?

Choose the song above. AI splits it into six stems. Solo the instrument you are learning, press Loop from here at the start of the hard bar and to here at its end, then pick a slower speed.

Slow it down without changing the key

Speeds from 50% to 90% keep the original key, so you can play along in tune while you learn. Go back to 100% once it feels easy.

See the chords as it plays

The current chord and the next one show under the mixer, worked out from the harmony instruments, so you can follow along on guitar or piano.

Questions

Can I loop a section?

Yes. Press Loop from here at the start of the section and to here at its end. It repeats until you stop looping.

How slow can it go?

Down to half speed, without changing the key.

Which instruments can I isolate?

Vocals, drums, bass, guitar and piano each have their own stem, and everything else is the sixth.

Is it free?

Yes, to try. Without an account you hear the first minute of any file and can download it as an MP3. A plan does whole files and downloads them in studio quality, from US$6 a month, with the first month at US$1 for new customers.

What file formats and lengths work?

MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, MP4, MOV and WebM all work, depending on your browser. Songs can be up to 20 minutes. Each stem downloads as a 24-bit WAV, the mix as you set it as one WAV, or all six stems at once as a ZIP.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in the browser on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows, with nothing to install.
