Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Mirinex at mirinex.com, formerly Voice Extractor at voiceextractor.com (the "service"). Plans bought under either name are the same plans. By using the service you agree to them.
What the service does
Mirinex separates voices from music and background sound in files you choose. For video, your browser extracts the audio, sends only that audio to our processing servers, and rebuilds the finished file on your device. Results are produced by a machine-learning model and can vary, so listen to your result before you rely on it.
Your files and your rights
You keep all rights to the files you process. We claim no ownership of your uploads or results.
You must have the right to process the material you upload. Separating or removing music does not give you permission to use someone else's recording, and it does not clear copyright or prevent copyright claims.
Don't use the service for anything unlawful, to infringe others' rights, or to disrupt it, including automated use designed to get around its limits.
Daily allowance
The allowance without a plan is one complete file of up to 6 minutes per week on each device, plus 1-minute previews of longer files each day, as shown on the site. This processing may pause when capacity is limited.
Paid plans
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, which also sends your receipts. Prices are shown in your currency and include any tax that applies.
- Day Pass: a one-time purchase that doesn't renew. It includes up to 25 files and 3 hours of audio within 24 hours of purchase.
- Pro: renews automatically each month until cancelled. Unlimited songs and videos, subject to abuse guardrails: up to 300 files and 30 hours of audio per billing month. With yearly billing, Pro is charged once a year at ten times the monthly price and renews yearly until cancelled; the same guardrails apply to each month of the year.
- Pro Lite: offered to Pro subscribers who choose to cancel. It replaces Pro on the same subscription from the next renewal date, renews monthly until cancelled, and includes up to 150 files and 15 hours of audio per billing month. You can switch back to Pro, or cancel, in Account, then Billing. Cancel anytime in Account, then Billing; access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
Isolation and noise cleanup use one minute of allowance per audio minute. Four-stem separation requires a paid plan and uses three minutes of allowance per audio minute. Each processing job uses one file; splitting an existing isolation result into four stems is a new job. Replaying or downloading a completed result uses no more allowance.
For both plans, whichever limit is reached first applies, and unused allowance doesn't carry over. If paid processing fails because of a problem on our side, we return the time and file allowance used for that job.
Each file can be up to 20 minutes and 250 MiB, with mono or stereo audio between 8 and 48 kHz. These file limits apply to daily allowances and paid plans. Video downloads also require a supported picture format. The site checks these limits before processing or offering a purchase.
Introductory prices and referrals
Within 7 days of buying a Day Pass, the first month of monthly Pro is offered at a lower introductory price. A friend invited by a Pro or Pro Lite subscriber can get the same introductory price. Each introductory price is for the first month of monthly Pro only, once per person, and only for someone who hasn't had Pro or an introductory price before. We use the payment card, email addresses and device to apply this (see our privacy policy).
Subscribers can invite friends from Account, then Refer a friend. When a friend you invited pays for another month after their first one, one month's Pro price is added to your account as credit, and it comes off your next payments. You can earn up to 12 months in total. Inviting yourself or someone who has had Pro before doesn't earn credit. Credit is added only while your subscription is active, applies only to Mirinex payments and has no cash value. We may withhold credit that comes from misuse, or end the program.

Availability
We work to keep the service available but can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
