An hour-long recording.
Cleaned up in one go.
Lectures, interviews, sermons and meetings often run an hour or more. Mirinex cleans recordings up to three hours long. It works through them in parts of up to 20 minutes and joins the result back into one file.
Choose your file and hear the first minute cleaned before you decide.
Choose the tool for the sound you want gone
Hiss, hum, air conditioning, traffic or room echo: use the noise remover. It keeps the voice and takes out the steady noise around it.
Music under the speech: use the voice isolator. It separates the voice from a band, a radio or background music in a video.
Both: start with the voice isolator, then listen. If noise is still there, run the cleaned file through the noise remover.
How a long recording is processed
- Choose the file. MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4 and MOV all work, up to three hours. You hear the first minute cleaned before you choose a plan.
- The recording is split into equal parts. Each part is up to 20 minutes long and counts as one file of your plan. A 50-minute lecture is three parts of about 17 minutes.
- Keep the tab open while the parts finish. The page shows which part it is on. If one part fails, try again and only that part runs again.
- Listen and download. The parts come back joined into two WAV files: the cleaned recording and the sound that was taken out.
How much of a plan it uses
A recording uses its length in minutes and one file per part. A 60-minute interview uses 3 files and 60 minutes. Starter includes 60 files and 5 hours of audio a month; Creator includes 220 files and 30 hours.
Long videos come back as audio. Place the cleaned WAV under the original picture in your video editor.
Check these moments before you share it
Quiet speakers and questions from the room: listen to the softest voices, not just the main speaker.
Applause, laughter and music cues: the removed track holds them. If you want some back, mix a little of it under the cleaned file in your editor.
Words the microphone barely caught: cleaning can make speech clearer, but it cannot recover words that were never recorded clearly.
Try it on your recording
Choose the file and hear the first minute cleaned. Any plan does the whole recording, part by part.
Hear the first minute of your own file. Any plan processes the whole thing.
