Remove the vocals from a song
right in your phone’s browser.

Open Mirinex in your phone browser, choose a saved song, and select the Music track after separation. Download that mix to keep the instrumental on your phone.

You need a file the browser can open, such as MP3, WAV or M4A. A song saved inside a streaming app is not necessarily available as a file in your phone's picker. Start with your own recording or a file you are permitted to process.

Remove the singer and keep the music

  1. Locate the file first. Make sure the song is downloaded to a location your phone's file picker can access. If it is still in cloud storage, allow time for the phone to retrieve it.
  2. Choose it in the vocal remover. Tap Choose a file, then use the file or browse option your phone offers. Select the recording and keep the page open while it processes.
  3. Select Music. The Music preset mutes the separated vocals. Tap Play and listen to a section with a clear lead vocal.
  4. Compare and adjust. Tap Original to hear the source, then switch back. For a practice version, choose Both and lower the Vocals fader until the singer is just a quiet guide.
  5. Tap Download mix. An audio source downloads as WAV. Open the result from your browser's downloads list or the location offered by your phone, and play it to confirm you saved the version you wanted.

If you cannot find the song in the picker

Confirm that you have an actual audio or video file, rather than a link, a playlist entry or an app-only download. The vocal remover accepts a file from your device. It does not fetch songs from a pasted streaming link.

If the phone offers more than one source in the picker, choose the one containing the file. The exact names and save location depend on your phone and browser; the important part is selecting the recording itself.

If the download is a ZIP or a video

Download both tracks creates a ZIP containing separate vocal and music WAVs. Use Download mix when you want a single file with the settings you just heard.

A supported video input may produce a video with your chosen mix. If you want its instrumental as audio, download both tracks and use the music WAV. When the browser cannot export the source video format, the mix can be returned as WAV audio instead.

Check the result before rehearsing

Use headphones to hear quiet traces of the singer, then try the instrumental on the speaker you will use for practice. Separation can leave reverb or faint backing vocals, especially in a dense chorus. If the song is outside your comfortable range, the pitch changer can adjust its key separately from its speed.

Remove vocals from your song

Hear the first minute of your own file. A Day Pass or Pro processes the whole thing.
